Children’s book author Orjiugo Hourihan joins us on The Good Word! She’s the author of Olie and His Light. The book was inspired by her relationship with her young son and focuses on the light within us all. Hourihan also has a daughter. Born in Nigeria and raised in the UK before coming to the United States, Orjiugo shares her message of kindness, compassion and empathy with FOX 5's Tisha Lewis. "I felt like becoming a mother was the most powerful I had ever felt but also the most vulnerable and responsible," said Hourihan.
